My LG 19" LCD (W1953T-PF) was dead (no display) 2 weeks ago. I send to ALL IT Hypermarket, Digital Mall, PJ Section 14 for warranty claim on 10 Jun 2010. Their staff (Chen J. T.) told that my LCD will be sent to MCL Berhad (their supplier) for repair on 11 Jun.
On 23 Jun, I called ALL IT, PJ Section 14 to check for status. Their staff asked me to check with MCL Berhad (Subang Jaya). I contacted MCL and was told that they not yet received the LCD!!! I called ALL IT again and they said MCL's driver just collected the LCD today (23 Jun). IT TAKES 2 WEEKS JUST TO TRANSFER THE LCD FROM PJ TO SUBANG JAYA!! What a POOR SERVICE offerred by ALL IT, PJ Section 14!! They should have inform MCL to collect the LCD for repair and NOT JUST WAIT FOR THEM TO COME! Their staff never inform me that it will take such a long time to send the LCD to supplier, else I will send it by myself! If I didn't push them today, my LCD could be kept in their Store Room UNTIL NEXT YEAR!!!
Lessons from my experience:
1) NEVER NEVER buy things from ALL IT Hypermarket, PJ Section 14
2) NEVER NEVER buy products from LG
